Course Outline
- Fire safety duties under the law
- The role of the fire warden in workplace health and safety
- The basic principles of risk assessment
- Identify a range of portable fire extinguishers
- Recognise the importance of an effective evacuation
- Advise members of staff on measures that can be taken to prevent fire or to minimise the spread of fire
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge and understanding of the role of the Fire Warden in a workplace environment.
Assessment
Continuous assessment by the trainer.

Heart specialist Dr Christopher Duke said Sophie 'would have survived' if she had received continuous CPR. He said 'You don't stop resuscitation just because a patient appears to be breathing. You only stop if there's breathing and a pulse.'
